Funding for Startups and Businesses in Swansea

VIVI Creative is a Welsh owned Design Agency based in Three Crosses, near Swansea. We specialise in Brand Identity design, Marketing and Website design and development. We like to think of ourselves as a 1 stop shop of all your design needs. We are rooted in strategy and work with business owners to really strip back who you are as a brand, who your customer is and how are we going to get that customer to choose you.

We are based in Swansea and wanted to make sure that all Swansea Businesses are aware of the funding that is available from Swansea County Council and their SPF Business Anchor Grants. The grants are sponsored through the UK Prosperity fund and funded by the UK government.

Pre Start Grants - Maximum Grant £10,000

To support start-up businesses. It is available to pre-start businesses to fund equipment, training, accreditation and marketing. 

Website Development - Maximum Grant £1,500

Online/website development. To fund costs relating to the creation of a business website or enhancement to an existing site.

Growth - Maximum Grant £50,000

To support business growth in Swansea through introduction of a new product or service, fund costs of equipment, IT systems and machinery.  

Carbon reduction - Maximum Grant £10,00

To help businesses work towards net zero carbon, funding costs including renewable energy generation, energy conservation and changes to manufacturing processes.

Supplier Development Grant - Maximum Grant £1,000

To fund any training or courses relevant to your business to boost your knowledge and expertise in your given field.

All applicants must be based in Swansea and they are match funded. Which means you have to put in as much money yourself as a business and match what you are applying for. But basically it is free money to help grow your business.

This means that there is money available for you to put towards a marketing campaign, a new website, social media marketing and it is available to you from Swansea County Council. We can help you get in touch and point you in the right direction for help and support with your business financial needs. I know myself how important it is to have a steady cash flow and when you are starting out you need all the support and help you can get.

All you have to do is put together a business plan and a 12 month cash flow, showing how you are going to use the money and present it to Swansea County Council.
