All the steam engines in Victoria’s Torton Tales are based on real life traction engines. The stories are written by Wendy Wakelin, who, with her husband Lloyd, own the real Victoria, who was bought, brand new, by Lloyd’s great, great Grandfather, Mr. Seward, back in 1886. The books are published by Tormedia Publishing and I have had the please of illustrating for them for numerous years. The latest digital version of Victoria and her friends have been produced as marketing collateral for the book series. I have been involved with this series of children's books since the beginning in 2015. We have just completed book 5 in the series, about Victoria the traction engine and her friends.
